Thank you to our WSS customers

We have been busy catching up on work which we were unable to complete due to the wet season out in the fields. Now is the time to clean up as many jobs as we possibly can, before it gets too wet again.

Work slows during the winter months however this is the perfect opportunity for us to get out to farms and offer ideas regarding your water and pumping requirements.

Brendan Hammond has been with WSS for 30 years this year and has an incredible amount of knowledge when it comes to rural plumbing and ways you’re able to be more effective on your property. We have two new staff members this month, Dean Meeson and Allan Withall, between the two of them they have over 60 years’ experience in the farming industry (read about Dean & Allan below) as part of our outdoor team. Bryce Tucker works Wednesday & Thursday out in the field as our trencher/excavator operator and field work.

Jack Barclay, the owner of the business, is available every Friday to quote farm jobs and he also specialises in garden irrigation.

In the retail store, Donna Maloney our purchasing officer works diligently to ensure we get the best deals to pass onto our customers & Trent Quigley keeps our computer applications ticking along & supports in pump repairs, they are both also busy (ordering, stocking shelves & customer service) and at this time of year also includes stocktake. Emily Davis in accounts is preparing for end of financial year as well as her day-to-day duties. Tom Fitzgerald in the workshop is busy repairing pumps to get them back out to properties as quickly as possible. Trish Barclay helps out on Saturday mornings occasionally.

It has been very hard the last couple of years with COVID, getting staff and retaining staff and from all our staff we thank our customers for their patience and understanding. We look forward to continuing our fantastic service to our customers in store and at your property/farm.
